Happy November! We are excited that the holidays are just around the corner, and the elves are hard at work finalizing the wishlist. Due to Covid, our operations will be primarily online. We are thrilled to be offering an online version of our giving trees that you are used to seeing around town. We hope to have it published around Thanksgiving.
This year we will be offering a FREE HANDMADE CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT to the first 20 people who make a donation of $20 or more! Happy giving!
Check back in for updates and the list! As always, you can donate via PayPal using the following QR code or button below.
Help us spread some Christmas cheer in a year that we need it more than ever.
It's been a while since you've seen an update on this page. For us, like many this year has been a rollercoaster full of unexpected events. Our team at Bit of Sunshine spent a lot of time looking at each other absolutely stumped on what we could do to help the amount of sickness, hurt, loss and misfortune that has come to our community as the pandemic continues to effect us. A lot of our traditional methods of fundraising aren't going to be possible this year. Nevertheless, we are looking forward on the next few months with hope. The holidays are coming and everyone could use some good old fashion cheer.
We understand that with hard times upon us, it can be difficult to find yourself in the position to give, but you may also find that it's just what you need to turn your spirits around. We can do this, together.
We will be hosting a garage sale, getting rid of some gently used things on Friday September 18th & Saturday September 19th 8am to 12pm at 27683 Winchester Trail in Silver Spur, Steamboat Springs and 100% of proceeds will go directly to Bit of Sunshine, so we can get started on our Christmas Magic, as always there is a link to donate on our webpage, but please stop by, we look forward to seeing all of you.
Routt County Folks! The giving trees are up! This year we have a tree at Wild Goose Coffee at the Granary in Hayden, Off the Beaten Path Bookstore in Steamboat, Steamboat Pilates (will be up later this week) and Excel Gymnastics (will be up later this week) as well as multiple licensed home daycares. The giving trees are filled with items for children in Routt County.

We are so excited to get going on our Christmas project this year. Please consider picking up something for a child in need, making a tax deductible donation, or shopping through amazon smile, and make this holiday season a little brighter for these families.
Enjoy this time with your families this holiday season.
We are very excited to announce that we are now on Amazon Smile, a program that donates .5% of your purchase to our organization. All you have to do is select our organization, Bit of Sunshine Inc (Steamboat Springs) as the nonprofit you wish to donate to. www.smile.amazon.com

Thank you for your support!
We have been staying busy at Bit of Sunshine this Spring and Summer in our community,
This year was remarkable! We were able to help 24 families with over 60 kids, by giving gifts and baskets full of holiday spirit! Thanks to the outstanding community members and the following businesses, Steamboat Pilates, Off the Beaten Path Bookstore, Union Wireless in Steamboat Springs, Hayden Public Library, Wild Goose Coffee at the Granary, Steamboat Springs Remax, Alpine Lumber, Health Connect Properties Denver Colorado and multiple home daycares. Without all of these kind hearted people we would never of been able to achieve the amazing things we did this year.
