Exciting things happening here at Bit of Sunshine!

 We loved being at the farmers market in Steamboat on June 16th, we got to see tons of wonderful people and spread our message around the community! We'd like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came and supported us! Your kind hearts is why we do what we do! At our booth we had example of our two very exciting projects we have been working on this summer, it was so cool to be able to show people what their donations go towards.

Foster Care Kits-
We have been working on Foster Care Kits, which is a small backpack full of comfort items such as, a toothbrush, hairbrush, coloring book, pencils, stuffed animal, etc. that are given to children placed in foster care.We have reached out to the foster community here in Routt County and are looking forward to continuing to work with them in the future.

​Back to School Backpacks-
The start of school is going to be here before we know it and many kids do not have what they need to start out the year, so we have put together backpacks with the essential schools supplies that kids need. 

We recently purchased some educational workbooks to help several elementary students keep up with their studies over the summer and we are excited to continue helping children throughout the year.
